Following a 2017 crammed with work and biscuits, it was time to kick off the new year with new-found energy to ensure that 2018, the year when we are celebrating our 125th anniversary, will also be chock-full of plans and delicious biscuits.
On 18 January we grabbed our bags to head to the other side of the Atlantic, more specifically to San Francisco. For the first time we took Birba to the United States so that they too could taste how good our biscuits are. The venue was the Winter Fancy Food Show, the country’s largest trade event which is held twice a year and features all kinds of food products.
A week after visiting Fancy Food we moved on to the ISM in Cologne, Germany, a trade fair held every year specialising in the sweets industry (chocolate, confectionery and all kinds of sweet snacks) and where Birba is already a regular attendee.
